Overview
The SI32-PEL64R-8 from IMO Precision Controls is a rotary actuator switch with a lockable-off feature, housed in a durable plastic enclosure. Engineered as a True DC isolator, this switch is specifically designed to disconnect the DC/AC inverter from photovoltaic panels, meeting the IEC 60364-7-712 requirements for photovoltaic installations.
This IMO SI model is a genuine True DC switch, not a modified AC version. It features an operator-independent switching mechanism, high-speed trigger ratchet action, and an IP67-rated enclosure. For optimal safety, it includes a fully enclosed internal switch with no additional wiring, knife-edge contacts, and arc cooling chambers. The switch offers a maximum torque of 1Nm for ease of use, a compact design to save space, and 16mm² box terminals for straightforward wiring.
