EG4 Line Set Extension Kit – 16.4 ft (5m)
The EG4 Line Set Extension Kit adds an extra 16.4 feet (5 meters) of reach to your EG4 mini-split air conditioning system. This is ideal for installations requiring more length than the 16.4 ft (5m) line set included with the mini-split unit. Both the original and extension line sets feature Plug-N-Cool connections and are pre-vacuum sealed, allowing for easy installation without needing an HVAC technician. The kit also comes with connector fittings to link the two line sets seamlessly.
Note: Adding a line set extension increases the total system volume, which may result in around 3% efficiency loss if no refrigerant is added.
To maintain optimal performance, a certified HVAC professional can add refrigerant to offset the added volume—approximately 0.2 oz. per foot of extension.
The included line sets are Plug-N-Cool and pre-vacuumed, ensuring a clean, sealed connection during installation.
Important: This kit is designed to be installed during the initial setup of your indoor and outdoor units. It is not suitable for systems where the refrigerant valves have already been opened and refrigerant has been released into the lines.
