The SI32-PEL64R-4 by IMO Precision Controls stands as a rotary actuator switch lockable in a plastic enclosure, serving as a True DC isolator purpose-built to disconnect the DC/AC inverter from photovoltaic panels. According to IEC 60364-7-712, all photovoltaic installations necessitate DC isolators.
The IMO SI functions as a dedicated True DC switch, distinct from AC versions adapted for DC use. It boasts an operator-independent switching mechanism, high-speed trigger ratchet switching, IP66-rated enclosure, fully enclosed internal switch for enhanced safety without extra wiring, Knife edge contacts, and arc cooling chambers. With a maximum torque of 1Nm for effortless operation, its compact design saves space, while the 16mm² box terminals facilitate easy wiring.
