The MultiPlus-II 2x120V is a robust all-in-one inverter/charger tailored for standard 50A 120/240VAC split-phase mobile and off-grid power systems in North America. Designed for maximum flexibility, it accommodates both split-phase (120/240V) and single-phase (120V) power sources—whether from shore power or a generator—while ensuring full 50A passthrough to AC loads and charging systems.
In cases where only a 120V source is available, the MultiPlus-II smartly draws power from Line 1 (L1) and internally bridges the outputs to maintain 120V supply across both L1 and L2 legs. In the event of power loss, the unit instantly transitions to inverter mode, keeping loads active by producing single-phase 120V output to both legs. This setup protects batteries by allowing 240V loads only when true split-phase input is present, preventing unnecessary drain.
