The MRCOOL® 4th Generation DIY 9K BTU Ductless Wall Mounted Air Handler is a compact, energy-efficient solution for heating and cooling spaces up to 375 sq. ft. When paired with a compatible MRCOOL® DIY condenser, this unit can achieve an impressive 22 SEER efficiency rating—making it ideal for bedrooms, home offices, or small living areas.
This air handler features multiple operating modes—COOL, HEAT, AUTO, DRY (dehumidify), and SLEEP—for year-round indoor comfort. Thanks to its SmartHVAC WiFi app compatibility, you can monitor and adjust settings directly from your Apple or Android device. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for voice control convenience.
Installation is straightforward with its lightweight design and included mounting plate. It’s specifically engineered for use with the Pre-Charged Quick Connect Line Set, which comes factory pre-filled with R-410A refrigerant. The quick-connect fittings allow DIY installation using basic hand tools—no vacuuming or charging required.
